Yes! With very few exceptions, orders placed before 11:30am PST with Rush Processing can be delivered locally to the cities of Santa Barbara, Summerland, Carpinteria, Goleta, Isla Vista and Montecito on the same day. Big flower holidays like Mother's Day and Christmas will likely have different deadlines, please contact us if it's not clear.
Due to the flow of our order processing and strict timelines, we are not able to photograph and send pictures of individual orders. We so hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience!
We typically deliver between the hours of 12:30pm-4:00pm but on busy days deliveries may begin earlier or end later. For time specific delivery within a 30 minute window, please select the Special Trip delivery option at checkout.
Can you send me a photo of my order?
If you’re looking for specific flower selections or a custom design, we may not be the best fit for you! As a farm-based, small-scale floral program, all bouquets are 100% seasonal and our specialty lies in creating exceptional mixed flower arrangements from these seasonal flowers.
Our orders from our farmers each week are carefully planned to build an exceptional arrangement in our available palettes. This range of unique colors and textures allows our florist to make your arrangement as beautiful as possible and of the highest quality.
Due to the fact that we are local, seasonal, farm-focused and small-scale, we unfortunately cannot guarantee any specific flower request in our arrangements. If your recipient has a favorite flower or color, you are welcome to let us know and we will feature it when it is available from our farmers that week!
In most cases, yes! However, it can be challenging to design without some flowers such as roses in some seasons as removing certain flowers can reduce the quality of the arrangement. In the case that your recipient will need specific flowers removed due to allergies or other circumstances, please reach out to us at support@santabarbaracompany.com
No, and we're proud of that! All of our arrangements are uniquely made and will vary depending on the season and availability.
The type of vase varies depending on availability and the florist's vision for your arrangement. If you love a vase shown in one of the images, you are welcome to let us know so that we can select the same or choose one as similar as possible, but we cannot guarantee a specific vase.
Absolutely! After selecting your flowers, simply type your gift message into the prompt on the cart page prior to checkout. If you missed this, you can email us right after placing your order. We'll print your gift message on our house stationery or you can opt to have it handwritten on our occasion specific cards here.
Our floral arrangements come with vases and water to ensure your flowers last as long as possible (typically within 5-6 days). Some of our favorites flowers like Iceland Poppies can have a slightly shorter vase life. Flowers can be snipped away as they fade so that the arrangement can be enjoyed for its full length. We recommend that hand delivered bouquets be placed in water as soon as they are received to maximize their longevity.
Yes! All of our flower arrangements are seasonal. Our Market Blooms Bouquet is a selection of the most seasonal flowers available.
You bet! You can order our centerpieces and arrangements for events. If you are ordering more than 6 arrangements, you will need to check that we are available on your date. Please send event details and the approximate number of arrangements you will need. We can take custom color palette requests for larger orders. We do not do custom installations, extensive onsite setup, or fully custom designs, as our specialty is always designing incredible local and sustainable arrangements with eco-friendly design materials (no flower foam) in our signature style.
To keep our floral offerings accessibly priced, continue offering our daily flower menu for deliveries, and keep our amazing small team of florists sane, we do not take fully custom requests in styles other than we currently offer. Click here to see our current size and design offerings. We know there are other great florists in the area ready to handle this for you!
In general, no. However, many brides have ordered one of our hand-tied bouquets as their bridal bouquet. If you are doing so, please let us know so that we can tie it with ribbon for you.
You will need to consider hydration of the bouquet as our hand tied bouquets do not come with vases. You can bring a vase with you to pick it up or you can add a vase to your order. Bring your order number, or show your receipt, and it can be returned for store credit after your event.
Many of our flowers are organically grown, but most do not have CCOF certification. Typically, 50-90 percent of an arrangement is organically grown. It's challenging to build an exceptional arrangement without full use of our flowers, so we cannot accept requests for organic-only.
We do! You can even choose the size and frequency of the deliveries. Click here for our Market Blooms Giftable Flower Subscription and here for our Seasonal Arrangement Giftable Flower Subscription.
